How to use PDF File Size Checker

The checker reads the local File object size and converts it into bytes, KB and MB. It does not need to parse or render the PDF contents.

Results appear immediately on the page with the file name and three size formats; no output file is created.

Is the size measured locally?

Yes. The browser exposes the selected file size without uploading the file.

What is the difference between KB and MB here?

The display uses 1024 bytes per KB and 1024 KB per MB.

Can it reduce the file size?

No. Use Compress PDF after checking the current size.

Does it verify that the file is a valid PDF?

The current checker reads file metadata and does not fully validate PDF structure.

Can I compare two files?

The current version checks one file at a time.
