What the tool creates
The viewer opens the PDF and reads common document information fields. Values that are not set are clearly identified, and the source file is not changed.
Metadata appears on the page in a result grid; no new PDF is created.

Important limits
- PDFs can contain additional metadata or embedded data not shown by this basic viewer.
- Metadata values can be missing, inaccurate or intentionally edited.
- Inspecting metadata does not reveal every privacy risk inside page content or attachments.

Which fields are displayed?
Title, author, subject, creator, producer, keywords, creation date and modification date are checked.
Does viewing metadata change the PDF?
No. The tool only reads the selected fields.
Can a PDF contain more metadata than shown?
Yes. XMP packets, attachments, annotations and other structures can contain additional information.
Why are some values missing?
The PDF creator may not have set those fields, or they may have been removed.
Are files uploaded?
Supported metadata inspection runs in the browser.
