How to use PDF to PNG

Choose a PDF file.
Set a render scale based on the resolution you need.
Select Convert to PNG and keep the tab open.
Download the ZIP and inspect the generated images.

What the tool creates

The converter renders each page to a canvas and saves it as PNG. PNG is lossless, so it often preserves crisp lines better than JPG but may produce larger files.

The output ZIP contains page-1.png, page-2.png and the remaining pages in order.

Important limits

PNG output does not preserve searchable text, links, forms or PDF structure.
Complex or long PDFs can generate a very large ZIP.
Render scale increases both detail and memory usage.

Is PNG better than JPG for text?

PNG often keeps text edges and diagrams sharper because it uses lossless compression.

Can I convert only one page?

The current version converts every page; extract the required page first for a single image.

Does PNG preserve PDF transparency?

The page is rendered as displayed by the PDF renderer; PDF interactive behavior is not preserved.

Why are PNG files large?

Lossless compression retains more pixel information than JPG.

What render scale should I use?

Start around 1.8 and increase it only when you need more pixels.
