What the tool creates

The tool embeds a bold standard font and draws the chosen text diagonally across the center of every page. Opacity can be set from 0.05 to 1.

The result is watermarked.pdf. The watermark becomes part of each page's content stream in the new file.

Common uses

  • Labeling confidential review copies
  • Marking drafts before approval
  • Adding a department or status label

Important limits

  • The same watermark text, angle and style are applied to every page.
  • Very long text can extend beyond page boundaries.
  • A watermark is a visual notice, not access control or encryption.

Privacy note: Supported processing runs in this browser tab. Do not process files you are not authorized to handle, and keep an original backup.

The current version supports text watermarks only.

Can I watermark selected pages?

The current version applies the watermark to every page.
